(xli.)

"Now, you listen here, you little shit! You're going to tell us every thing you know, do you understand?!"

He slapped him across the face with his pistol.

"I already told you, I don't know anything," he whimpered, quietly.
"You don't."
"No."
"Okay. Let's try this from the beginning. What's your name?"
"Frank... Frank Wetherill."
"And what do you do for a living?"
"I sell cars."
"What kind of cars?"
"Toyotas."
"And you're not a spy?"
"No. I'm not a spy."
"Then how do you know Lorelei Kani... Kan... Whatever the fuck her last name is?"

He sighed. "She kidnapped me in the process of stealing a car."

"I still don't beleive you. You know that, right?"
"But that's the truth!"

The District Coordinator sighed, and stepped out of the interrogation room.

"I don't think this is getting us anywhere."

Chet flicked away the ashes from his cigarette. "No. But it was fun to watch."
"Uh... okay. Yeah. But we still don't know how--"
"Doesn't matter. We finally got rid of Lorelei. That's all that matters."

He walked over to a nearby filing cabinet. He opened it, and pulled out a charred, tarnished sword. "You see this, gentlemen? This... is our trophy. It's like in Snow White, when the Evil Queen sent the Hunter to kill Snow White and bring back her heart. This is Lorelei's heart. Sort of."

Louis suddenly blurted out, "But that's a sword."
"You're a dumbass."
"But, wait, didn't the Hunter bring back a rabbit's heart? Wasn't that the entire point of Evil Queen having to disguise herself and do the whole poison apple thing?"

Chet pulled out his pistol and slapped Louis across the face with it. "You missed the point entirely. Even if it was a bad analogy."
